I am the second owner of what I feel is a very rare 1965 GTO. I have every document that has ever been issued for it, since new, with authorization for the transplant from PMD, of a, 421 motor, 3 deuces. I have most every gas receipt. The car is registered in Texas but is not stored in Texas. It has less than 8,000 original miles on it and has been kept in a climate controlled environment stored since 1966. This is a black on black car with 4 speed on the floor. No power steering or brakes, no A/C. I even have its original hub caps, wheels and tires, yes original tiresĀ¦.. They have been off the car since 1965 with aftermarket, American Mags, real ones, some longer coil springs in the front and re-arched leaf springs. It is a hardtop model, no post. I have the original coil springs. There have been no modifications except for that and it has never been in an accident. There is not one door ding or scratch on the body. The glass has no marks or scratches. I also have the original 389 with 3 miles on it. I have known the original owner since 1965. Without seeing it would you place a reasonable value on it? I keep it in a very controlled environment and really dont want others to know about where it is. Terry tmacsix@gmail.com
