reprint from e-mail: My dad is doing up a 74 pontiac grand prix. on origional pull down on the car we had the wiring removed and alot of it is damaged and needs replacing and a few interior parts. We have tried to find some here in Australia with no luck. Was curious if you would know of any places in america which we would be able to get parts for this model. We are chasing a full wiring kit for the car aswell as a dash and few interior bits. any info for this would muchly appreciated as the car is rare here in australia thanks matt. hi i have a pontiac bonneville 65 limosine and wondering if someone have  more info about them i have found 4 of them here in sweden and 1 of them in a grave yard for cars but its very difficult to find any info at all only that it was made only 10 of them and there is not so many left on the road..pleas some how know´s a site or some thing or have any info agout this wery unusual car that i want to get a new life on the road again

Has rebuilt jasper motor with less then 5,000 miles on it. It also has a jasper rebuilt transmission. Clutch does not work. I bought this scar about four years ago to restore. but I never had the time to start on the project. It’s been sitting in my car port ever since. The car has not run in that many years, so I don’t know if it will run or not. The car has a racing exhaust and a racing chip in it. What I am saying here is what was told to me by the guy that I bought it from. it would be great parts car or a good project car. The body is in good shape with a few dings here and there. It will need one head light motor and some plastic lenses from what I can see. I am willing to sell it at a good price for the purchaser to have room to work with it. Looking for a 400 block in the houston area.. Hey – I do NOT live in Houston (lol). I am a pontiac guy in SCarolina. I am in process of having a guy do a motor for me in the Houston area. Looking for a non-557 block (400). Prefer a 70-74 block or so. Thanks! Lou lfknoepp@bellsouth.net

I just purchased a 1954 Pontiac "Superior" hearse. It has the original straight 8 cyl engine and manual trans with the "3 on the tree" The engine turns over but won't start. Its been sitting for many years and when I felt the sparkplug wires a few cracked to the touch. I know an A to Z tune-up is in order as well as maybe replacing the coil. Also on the list is rebuilding the carb. Before I actually start it, I'm going to do a compression test too. Is there anything else about this motor that might need attention that I missed to get it running? Also...I'm having a hard time coming up with tuning specs. :P Any "straight 8" experts here?
