History The American Pontiac Association was founded in late 1979 by Kirk Robinson, Mike Anawaty, and Ken Moreno of Houston. Originally known as the South Texas Pontiac Club, its function is to cater to Pontiac enthusiasts and aid in the restoration, preservation, and appreciation of Pontiac automobiles. The club is non-profit and family oriented. Throughout the year club activities include monthly meetings, monthly “cruise” nights, joint participation in activities of other clubs, a bi-annual A.P.A. car show, major involvement in the Houston Autorama, various other club activities, and an annual awards banquet. Meetings are held on the first Tuesday night of each month at the Hickory Hollow Restaurant, at Heights Boulevard and Center Street in Houston. Meetings begin at 7:30 p.m. Club dues are $24.00 per year. I thought you would be interested in this picture of the very first decal/sticker design provided to members of the South Texas Pontiac Club, now APA. This decal is on the back window of the Kirk Robinson GTO.

Kirk Robinson and friends at Niftee50ees. He is one of the founders of the club and was a driving force in getting the club organized during the early days of the club. Checkout Kirk`s Website
