The American Pontiac Association is having they’re 28th annual spring open car show in beautiful Galveston,Texas on pier 21.Registration is from 8am till noon.We had over 160 cars last year so get there early to park on the pier next to the Elissa and get to see her set out.See the flyer for more info on www.apahouston.com.    See you there…

The American Pontiac Association will be the host car club at Hobbyfest at Hobby airport in south Houston on Feb. 27th 2010.The APA will be the host car club,we will have our classic Pontiacs along side all the classic airframes on display.Come out and enjoy the Wings and Wheels at Hobby fest.See flyer for details.

It’s time for the annual APA awards banquet.This year it will be held at the Logan’s Road house on Hwy 290 in between Pinemont and Hollister rds,in front of the Tinsletown movie theater.The party starts at 6pm.Remember “NO’ shorts,flip flops,tank tops,etc.Clean the grease out from under your fingernails after working on your Pontiac and put on those sunday go to meetin clothes.  We will formally introduce the club officers for this year and will award the coveted Tom Broaddus award.Come on by to have a good time…..L.

Come one come all to the 50th annual Houston Autorama at the George R. Brown convention center.This is an anniversary year, 50 big ones.Some of the Championship cars will be in attendance. It will be here November 26th thru November 29th.Come by and check out the APA club display.We will have 6 of the finest examples of Pontiac history.When your there “Join up “or “gawk” or take some pictures,we’ll tell you about the club and our History with the Autorama. Be sure and say Hi and catch a little of “the Bandit”. See ya there….L.

I found your Club\’s link, thru Spectre Peformance. And I\’m hoping that you could help out a fellow Pontiac Owner. I\’m trying to gather some info on what Cold Air Intake System from \”Spectre\” (for my Grand Prix GT) I can use. I\’m on a \”limited\” budget, so I can\’t afford the more known, expensive Cold Air Intake\’s (i.e. K&N FIPK, Thrasher, Wizaired, etc…) that are available for the Grand Prix.

WHEN YOU DRIVE THROUGH THE FRONT ENTRANCE YOU ARE GREETED BY AN APA OFFICIAL WHO WILL ASSIST YOU IN YOUR CLASSISIFICATION , THE ENTRY FEE IS $25.00 YOU WILL ASKED TO FILLOUT THE TOP PART OF THE JUDGES SHEET AND ASKED TO SIGN AND AGREE TO ABIDE BY THE RULES AND REGULATIONS, AS YOU WOULD IN ANY CAR SHOW.
THE JUDGING SHEET ALSO LISTS THE CRITERIA THE JUDGES WILL BE LOOKING FOR TO DETERMINE YOUR PLACEMENT .
THESE ARE THE STANDARDS USED TO DETERMINE AWARD PLACEMENT .
