DEAN HUGHES

The proud winner of the Best Pontiac Award went to Dean Hughes and his beautiful 1971 GTO .Dean Hughes is a member of the Gulf Coast GTO`s.His GTO is the definition of a Muscle Car, Large V-8 engine vehicle built before the 1973 oil embargo and stricter pollution laws and higher insurance premiums made these cars harder to come by . The Pontiac GTO is credited with starting the muscle car craze , When Pontiac President John Delorean decided to squeeze a V-8 in a mid size chassis , inspiring a host of competitors to build there own muscle cars .
